Shenzhen River Water Quality Technology Control Project

To implement the national relevant requirements for the stable and up-to-standard river water quality, the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government formulated decisions and arrangements to comprehensively eliminate black and odorous water before 2019, and put forward the responsibility target of the five major mainstreams and important rivers emptying into the sea to reach the standards by the end of 2020. Due to the tight schedule and heavy tasks, the water quality changes of river water are comprehensively supervised through UAV, video surveillance, rapid water quality inspection equipment, dispatching personnel to inspect and supervise, and other means, so that a dynamic, visual, work-supervised and daily reporting system is established. All water would be managed by market-oriented and technological ways in full weather and coverage without dead zones. A water quality monitoring trend station was deployed for the real-time online monitoring of river water quality. Monitoring factors: ammonia nitrogen, ORP, dissolved oxygen, conductivity, and water temperature. We set up 33 sets of water quality monitoring trend stations for the Shenzhen River Water Quality Technology Control Project, timely monitoring 33 rivers in Shenzhen.
